Tired of typing hours into a calculator every week?

This page does the maths for one timesheet at a time. Time-Clocking does it for your whole team automatically: staff clock in and out on their phones, every shift stores its own start and finish time, and the weekly totals per employee are ready to export for payroll — no re-typing, no adding up.

Questions about this calculator

How do I add up a weekly timesheet?

Work out each day separately — finish time minus start time, minus unpaid breaks — then add the seven daily totals together. Adding hours and minutes by hand is where most mistakes happen, which is why this calculator keeps everything in minutes and converts at the end.

How many hours is 8:00 to 17:00 with an hour for lunch?

Eight hours. The span is nine hours and the unpaid hour of lunch comes off. Over a five-day week that's 40 hours, or 40.00 in decimal hours.

Does this timesheet calculator handle overtime?

Yes. Set the weekly threshold — 40 hours is common — and anything above it is shown separately and paid at the multiplier you enter. Your own contracts or local law decide the correct threshold and rate.

Is my timesheet data saved anywhere?

No. Everything you type stays in your browser and is gone when you close the tab. Nothing is sent to us or stored.
