Frequently asked questions
Are both dates included?
Yes. A range from Monday to Friday of the same week counts as 5 working days.
Which years have bank holidays loaded?
2025, 2026 and 2027, taken from GOV.UK. Outside those years the calculator counts weekdays only and tells you so.
Does it handle substitute days?
Yes. When a bank holiday falls on a weekend, the substitute weekday published by GOV.UK is used.
